London Coffee Festival 2016

The Coffee Art Project would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the London 2016 Project such a success! In particular, we would like to thank all the artists who submitted work for our competition. Although all the entries were incredible, the judges narrowed the selection down to those displayed at the London Coffee Festival in the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Those displayed included 'Tears' by Cleopatra Christodoulides, 'Pareidolia: grounds/peacock' by Bethany Marett, and 'Hidden' by Nuria Salcedo Carbonell:

The public were just as impressed as we were! Take a look at some photos from the event:

All the artworks are a generous contribution from the artists themselves to Project Waterfall, with the work being sold or auctioned to fund the charity. The mission of Project Waterfall is to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to coffee growing communities around the world, and the initiative has so far raised over £350,000. The Coffee Art Project is just one of the ways in which money is raised for this important cause.

All the artwork displayed is available for purchase on our website. Visit http://coffeeartproject.bigcartel.com/ if you are interested in making one of these phenomenal pieces yours!
