This painting is composed of source materials I collected as a basis for this project. This artwork reflects the style and aesthetic of my work and marries my love of visual elements with a theme that is personal to me, as coffee plays a role in my daily life and in my family culture. My mother is from El Salvador, one of the biggest coffee producer countries, and my father an Italian American. Both cultures are known for their appreciation for coffee and espresso. Coffee is daily consumed in these countries and is also part of their social life.
