The work is one of a series of 'heads', where coffee is used to make the structure,  the colour, and  the shadow of the painting. And the coffee is the opposite of  the  sheen of  the golden acrylic colours, because of its structure. This represents the relations of heaven and earth [coffee], man to man.
And when the works are just finished, they smell very good, and remind us of the good things the earth gives us.
