In this piece of photography I wanted to show the pure elemental beauty of singular coffee ingredients. Every freshly brewed cup or fashionable latte or refined espresso entails simple yet drastically transformed components.

Here I wanted to capture a coffee bean floating in water, covered in sugar to leave a string of glucose streaming down past the air bubbles whilst the sun ignited all light particles in the frame. The pure sunlight creates a warm glow, as if heating up the coffee bean in a galactic coffee pot filled with glistening stars in a galaxy whereby there is an energy field around the bean itself.
