Using coffee both as an inspiration and as the medium, this illustration is based on the origins of coffee. An African woman hides behind a coffee plant during the harvest and looks through all the branches full of leaves and coffee beans that coloured on purpose, try to emphasize the importance of the coffee plant not only as the place where coffee comes from but also as the place where the medium used to recreate this illustration comes from. The woman herself represents all the hard work that “hides” behind a cup of coffee.
