Coffee Cup Cascade is an installation of 50 original artworks on used paper coffee cups, each representing a daily coffee break in New York City. Date and details are inscribed on the bottom so that every cup records a social moment. Instead of being the detritus of the coffee bar, heading for a landfill, the upcycled cup artworks are a measure of my regular habit of generating new ideas, a diary of time spent with friends and colleagues, and demonstrate the cumulative positive potential of doing something small and manageable every day.
