"Freedom to Travel"
Framed, Ink and Coffee on Paper
11 x 16"

I always use local coffee in my work. In the case of “Freedom to Travel”, the coffee is from South Korea, where I started and finished the artwork. It gives it a unique touch, from the region where I created it. My creation shows a journey of balloons/zeppelins and tents. The balloons represent our freedom, and the tents our ability to travel. Together it means that everyone must have the freedom to travel and we should be more conscious of this. My main medium is coffee because it is a great flexible colour, and in our modern times you can travel anywhere in the world and find it.
