After a thorough and continued assessment of the current international Coronavirus situation in the UK and globally, and in the interest of the safety of all visitors, Allegra Events has made the difficult decision to postpone the live London Coffee Festival until September 2021.

The Coffee Art Project will therefore be returning when the next live London Coffee Festival is held. This is currently planned for 23-26 September 2021. Registration will remain open for the London 2020/21 edition. We hope the competition can be an opportunity for creativity and positivity during these uncertain times.

THE BRIEF

Artists who apply will need to submit a piece of artwork that represents a creative, unique and personal connection to the concept of 'coffee' or 'coffee culture'. The work submitted can be any form of art, providing that it has a justifiable conceptual link to coffee or the coffee shop experience.

The artwork needs to be a unique piece, not a reproduction of others. Prints need to be a limited edition of 15, not more. All artwork submitted needs to be signed by the artists as evidence of uniqueness and authenticity and not reproduction. We will not accept copies or unauthentic pieces.

In line with COVID safety we are changing our evaluation process. We no longer request all artwork to be physically submitted, and instead request 1-2 high resolution images of your submission. The images will be reviewed and the top 30-40 pieces chosen for exhibition and to be sent in.

The top 30-40 pieces will be exhibited and judged at the London Coffee Festival (23-26 September 2021).

The competition is free to enter, and we also accept work on behalf of teams or individuals.

Before registering to take part, please read carefully through the Terms and Conditions.

Please note that The Coffee Art Project team will email you regularly once you have registered with reminders to send in your images and declaration and description forms before the deadline.
